Ensure all transactions have been captured and accounted for correctly on internal client books and records are completed accurately within internal market and SLA deadlines 2. Track and execute lifecycle events from initial set-up to closeout; taking into account coupons, corporate actions, dividend payments and resets 3. Liaise directly with clients and other market participants to confirm and settle transaction. 4. Perform and review reconciliations between internal and external data sources. Timely resolution of exceptions 5. Respond to complex queries from external parties in relation to associated trades/positions 6. Represent the team in cross-functional initiatives and/or projects 7. Provide technical guidance to the team by successfully onboarding new hires, proactively addressing complex issues, critical clients and escalations 8. Act as SME and provide functional support and coverage for the team, providing direction on workflow prioritization and transaction approval when needed. Knowledge: • A keen awareness of the Financial Services Industry, Understanding of the derivatives markets is beneficial • Effective in the use of a variety of communication methods. Strong and clear written and verbal communication. • Highly numerate and analytical with an ability to learn quickly. • Ability to work on multiple initiatives concurrently and prioritize effectively • Basic understanding of custody and fund administration functions required • Creative and dynamic approach to problem solving • Ability to work on own initiative and adhere to strict deadlines • Professional approach and ability to develop relationships both internally and externally Experience • 1. 2-5+ years of professional experience in the relevant field • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field (finance, economics, mathematics, etc.) • Business or financial services qualification or studying for same. This is not essential but would be an advantage.
