Key Responsibilities
Audit & Assurance:
Plan and execute Statutory, Internal, and Tax Audits independently in accordance with ICAI guidelines and legal requirements.
Review audit working papers and draft comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations.
Taxation & Compliance:
Oversee the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) and GST returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Handle tax assessments, respond to queries from tax authorities, and assist in tax planning for clients.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and review Financial Statements (Balance Sheets, P&L, Cash Flow) to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Analyze financial records to identify trends, variances, and areas for process improvement.
Team Leadership:
Supervise, mentor, and review the work of Article Assistants and junior staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact during active engagements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Post Graduate.
Experience: Typically 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in a CA firm or similar professional services environment.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and FEMA regulations.
Software: Proficiency in accounting software like Tally or Zoho Books, and advanced skills in MS Excel and Compu Tax Software
Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
