Assistant Manager (Accounts) Position Overview The Assistant Manager – Accounts will be responsible for supervising daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, finalization of accounts, and supporting the CA/Higher Authority in financial reporting and audits. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership to guide a small team of accountants.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Compliance ○ Oversee day-to-day accounting (AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliations). ○ Assist in finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
2. Financial Control & Analysis ○ Monitor cash flow, vendor payments, and receivables. ○ Prepare budget vs. actual reports, variance analysis. ○ Support internal and statutory audits, coordinate with auditors/CA.
3. Team Supervision ○ Guide and review work of junior accountants/executives. ○ Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial records.
Qualifications & Skills
● Experience of Handling Ecommerce Accounting.
● 5–8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
● Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
