• Accounts Payable Process Expertise:

• End-to-end AP cycle (invoice processing, payment scheduling, vendor reconciliation)

• Managing carrier payments and factoring arrangements

• Carrier & Factoring Relationship Management:

• Liaising with carriers and factoring companies

• Handling inquiries, settlements, disputes, and payment justifications

• Reporting & Reconciliation:

• AP Aging analysis and reporting

• Preparing MIS reports (e.g., weekly pending payments, aging summaries, exception reports)

• Bank and ledger reconciliations

• Leadership & Team Management:

• Managing AP team, monitoring workload distribution, ensuring SLA adherence

• Training, mentoring, and performance evaluations

• System Proficiency:

• ERP systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Tally

• Logistics TMS experience like EZ Loader, Express Online (PCS), Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), SAP Transportation Management etc.

• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, aging formulas)

• Process Improvement & Compliance:

• Identifying process gaps, implementing automation/workflow enhancements

• Ensuring compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit readiness
