Role Purpose
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end statutory compliance activities related to
GST, TDS and TCS, along with accounting, reconciliations, audit support, financial data management and
regulatory reporting. The role requires ensuring accuracy of financial records, timely statutory filings and
compliance with applicable regulations and deadlines.
1. GST Compliance & Filing
Prepare and file monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns using Webtel software.
Verify sales data and reconcile the same with the GST portal.
Ensure accurate classification of transactions, including B2B and export transactions.
Compute GST liability and ITC utilization.
Ensure timely GST payments and return filing.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in GST data and reconciliations.
2. TDS & TCS Compliance
Compute monthly TDS and TCS liabilities.
Ensure timely payment of TDS and TCS.
Prepare and file quarterly TDS and TCS returns.
Verify deductions and maintain appropriate supporting records.
Handle corrections and revisions in statutory returns.
3. Accounting & Financial Data Management
Pass GST utilization and payment entries.
Prepare PPI data and financial reports.
Maintain accurate and updated accounting and financial records.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data for reporting and compliance requirements.
4. Audit & Compliance Support
Assist in the preparation of GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C for annual GST compliance/audit.
Support Tax Audit, Statutory Audit, Cost Audit and ASI Audit activities.
Prepare schedules, reports and audit working papers.
Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial information and supporting documents.
Address and resolve audit queries with accurate supporting data.
5. Transfer Pricing & Regulatory Support
Assist in transfer pricing-related workings.
Provide financial data, reports and supporting information as required for regulatory and compliance activities.
6. Sales & Purchase Register
Prepare and maintain annual sales and purchase registers.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of registers for audit and statutory compliance purposes.
7. Cost Audit & Compliance
Prepare cost audit data, schedules and supporting annexures as required.
Compile and verify cost records in accordance with applicable requirements.
Prepare and submit required annexures and audit-related documentation within prescribed timelines.
Ensure compliance with applicable cost audit provisions and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with cost auditors for smooth execution of the audit.
Respond to and resolve auditor queries by providing accurate supporting data.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audit reference and review.

Required Competencies
