Role and Responsibility:
Accounting Domain Expertise and Gap Analysis
Understand client AP/AR processes, chart of accounts, and reconciliation workflows to identify fit-gaps between their operations and Firmway's platform.
Analyse client ledger data, flag discrepancies, and propose software configuration or product enhancement where required.
Translate accounting pain-points (e.g., vendor TDS mismatches, unapplied receipts, debit notes, reconciliation) into actionable implementation tasks.
Client Training and Communication
Conduct structured, in-person and virtual training sessions for finance teams — from accounts executives to CFO's — tailoring depth and language accordingly.
Develop training materials, SOP's, and user guides written from an accounting perspective, not a generic tech manual.
Lead webinars and onboarding workshops to scale training across multiple clients simultaneously.
Communicate project status, risks, and timelines clearly to client stakeholders — maintaining transparency at every stage.
Implementation and Project Execution
Own end-to-end implementation plans — from kick-off to go-live — ensuring on-time delivery for each client.
Coordinate with the Tech and QA team to resolve technical issues, data mapping challenges, and ERP integration queries.
Manage post-go-live support, ensuring smooth user adoption and resolving accounting workflow queries.
Product Feedback and Continuous Improvement
Capture real-world client feedback on accounting edge cases and relay structured insights to the Product
team.
Identify feature gaps where the software does not yet meet accounting requirements, and contribute to the product roadmap from the field.
