• Acting as a maker for all financial entries posted at the units.

• Operating a subset of the payable function

• Month End Closure Activities with timelines

• MIS Reporting of key figures at the unit level to the respective FM and HOD levelfor consolidation in the business MIS

• SOA compliance Ensuring adherence to SOA for all commercial transactions at the unit level

• Audits Coordination and presentation of records for scrutiny to the Internal / Statutory Auditors.

• Commercial Functions at the Unit Maintaining a commercial hygiene at the unit.

• Indirect taxation Vat and GST compliance for Sikkim state.

• Process Improvements Have initiated, implemented and sustained the Accounting process changes and improvements at the units

 Key Responsibilities: 

- Serve as the single point of contact for the Sikkim unit

- Ensure timely payments to vendors and statutory payments

- Prepare monthly book closures and various MIS reports

- Review and analyze GL accounts

- Coordinate with auditors for both internal and statutory audits

- Reconcile bank statements and manage budget for the unit

- Standardize accounting SOPs for the Sikkim unit

- Act as the cost owner for the unit

Job Requirements:

Candidates with Graduate & 0.5 - 2 years of experience in accounting or finance are perfect for this role. Besides, they must have proficiency in tools like QuickBooks and MS Excel. Additional certification in the same field is a plus. If you have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), apply now.
