## Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliances, banking activities, vendor payments, and financial reporting. The candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, ensure timely statutory compliance, and support the organization in maintaining accurate financial records.
## Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Prepare and monitor debtor ageing reports and follow up on outstanding collections.
• Record purchase transactions and ensure accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) accounting.
• Process vendor payments and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Record bank transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Identify and resolve banking discrepancies and monitor bank charges.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure proper capitalization and depreciation accounting.
• Calculate, deduct, and deposit TDS within statutory due dates.
• Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns.
• Prepare and file monthly GST returns and reconcile ITC with GSTR-2B.
• Ensure timely payment of Advance Tax and other statutory dues.
• Prepare monthly stock statements for submission to banks.
• Complete monthly book closure, including journal entries, provisions, accruals, and depreciation.
• Assist in the preparation of MIS reports and financial statements.
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and tax consultants during audits and compliance activities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
## Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
• Experience in Banking, Vendor Management, and Reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reports).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet statutory and reporting deadlines.
## Qualification
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory.
• M.Com / MBA (Finance) – Preferred.
## Experience
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
## Preferred Software Knowledge
• Tally Prime
• Microsoft Excel
• ERP Software (if applicable)
