Job Description – Accountant

Job Title: Accountant
Department: Accounts & Finance
Reports To: Director

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting work, maintain financial records, handle GST, and ensure accurate bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting in Tally / ERP
Record purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries
Prepare and maintain invoices and bills
Handle bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare GST returns and ensure tax compliance
Maintain ledgers and financial records
Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts
Prepare financial reports as required
Coordinate with auditors and consultants

Required Skills

Knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
Understanding of GST and basic taxation
Good knowledge of accounting principles
Attention to detail and accuracy

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com
1–3 years of experience in accounting
