Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in finance & taxation, preferably in the jewellery industry. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounts, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support business operations with accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings.

Handle accounts receivable/payable, invoicing, and vendor payments.

Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports.

Oversee GST, TDS, and other tax filings in compliance with statutory requirements.

Perform stock accounting, inventory control, and valuation (specific to jewellery industry).

Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (jewellery industry preferred).

Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime & MS Excel.

Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

Experience in stock/inventory accounting (especially gold & jewellery) will be an added advantage.

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Qualification:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA preferred.
