Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Policy Documentation & Issuance

    • Preparing, checking, and issuing policy documents.

    • Ensuring accuracy of client details, premium amounts, and coverage terms.

  2. Data Management

    • Maintaining records of policies, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.

    • Updating CRM systems and internal databases.

  3. Claims Processing Support

    • Coordinating with insurance companies for claims intimation and documentation.

    • Tracking claim status and updating clients on progress.

  4. Compliance & Regulatory Work

    • Ensuring adherence to IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) guidelines.

    • Preparing MIS (Management Information System) reports for audits.

  5. Client Servicing Support

    • Providing support to the sales team with policy details, quotations, and endorsements.

    • Assisting with client queries regarding policy terms, premium payments, or renewal schedules.

  6. Financial Reconciliation

    • Tracking premium collections and reconciling accounts with insurers.

    • Handling commission statements and assisting in payouts.


Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of insurance products (Life, Health, General, Commercial Lines).

  • Good command of MS Excel, Word, and CRM software.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  • Understanding of IRDAI compliance requirements.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
