Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, banking activities, and ERP-based financial management. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, financial statements, and reconciliation processes while ensuring accuracy and timely closure of accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) Statements, Balance Sheets, and other financial reports.

• Maintain and review Account Statements, General Ledger, and accounting records.

• Handle banking operations, including payments, receipts, and fund management.

• Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Ensure accurate accounting entries and month-end/year-end financial closing.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ledger reconciliations.

• Work extensively on ERP systems for accounting transactions and financial reporting.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and statutory regulations.

• Support management by preparing financial reports and MIS as required.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Hands-on experience in preparing P&L, Balance Sheet, and Financial Statements.

• Expertise in Banking Operations and Bank Reconciliation.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, ERPNext, or similar).

• Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Account Reconciliation.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

Educational Qualification

Mandatory:

• BCom

Preferred:

• MCom

• MBA (Finance)

• CA (Inter)

Preferred Experience

• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or process industries will be an added advantage.

• Exposure to ERP implementation or migration projects is desirable.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 5 - 6+ years Experience.
