Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accountant with hands-on experience in a CA firm and a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing compliance, and supporting overall financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Accounting and Financial Operations
○ Maintain accurate records of day-to-day financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
○ Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance with timely filings and documentation.
○ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
○ Assist in finalization of accounts, working papers, and audit schedules.
○ Support year-end audit processes by coordinating with external auditors.
● Accounts Payable/Receivable and Bank Reconciliation
○ Monitor customer invoicing, vendor payments, and follow-up on receivables.
○ Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in cash flow records.
○ Ensure timely payment of statutory dues and vendor bills.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
● B.Com/M.Com or any related field, with a minimum of 2 years of total experience, preferably in a CA firm environment.
● Working knowledge of Zoho Books or Zoho Finance tools is preferred.
● Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax compliance, and financial regulations.
● Technical Skills
○ Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho preferred) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
○ Familiarity with Tally, QuickBooks, or other ERP tools is a plus.
○ Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports with high accuracy.
● Soft Skills
○ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
○ Good verbal and written communication abilities.
○ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
○ Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
