Job Description

Job Role: Accountant
Industry: Transport / Logistics
Location: Hadapsar, Pune
Job Type: Full Time

Job Responsibilities

Maintain daily accounting records
Record fuel, vehicle maintenance, tolls, insurance, and driver expenses
Prepare invoices and manage client billing
Handle salary processing for drivers and staff
Reconcile bank accounts and fuel cards
Track expenses and support budgeting
Prepare GST and other tax filings
Generate monthly financial reports

Requirements

Graduation in Accounting / Finance
Experience as an Accountant (Transport experience preferred)
Knowledge of accounting software
Good Excel skills
Knowledge of GST and payroll

Preferred:

Knowledge of transportation-specific financial metrics (e.g., fleet management costs, fuel consumption tracking).
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost management in a transport environment.
