Job Summary

Dr. Heal Pain Cure Hospital is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the hospital's financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and support the management with accurate financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate should have experience in healthcare or hospital accounting and be capable of handling end-to-end accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.

• Handle hospital billing reconciliations, insurance claims accounting, and revenue reconciliation.

• Ensure timely closure of monthly and annual accounts.

• Prepare and file GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.

• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.

• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and hospital financial policies.

• Support payroll accounting and salary reconciliation in coordination with the HR department.

• Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com (Mandatory)

• CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) – Preferred

• Professional certifications in Accounting or Finance are an added advantage.

Experience

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.

• Prior experience in a hospital, healthcare, or multispecialty medical institution is preferred.

• Experience in hospital management software (HMS) and ERP/accounting software such as Tally Prime, SAP, Zoho Books, or Oracle is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
