Job Title: Senior Accounts Executive / Accounts Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive / Accounts Manager to independently manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The role involves bookkeeping, GST and TDS compliance, vendor and marketplace reconciliations, receivables management, MIS reporting, and coordination with internal teams and external auditors.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on accounting knowledge and be comfortable managing financial data across multiple sales channels and payment cycles.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting entries using Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.

• Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of financial transactions.

• Support monthly closing activities, including expense tracking, accruals, and basic P&L inputs.

• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

GST & Statutory Compliance

• Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B return filing.

• Perform input tax credit reconciliation.

• Coordinate for multi-state GST registrations and related compliance requirements.

• Manage TDS deductions, payments, and quarterly return filings.

• Assist with e-way bills, invoicing, and other statutory documentation.

• Coordinate with the company's CA and auditors for filings, audits, and compliance deadlines.

Reconciliation & Marketplace Accounting

• Reconcile payments and settlements across multiple sales platforms and channels.

• Handle reconciliation of marketplace settlements, including Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Shopify, and other sales channels.

• Reconcile vendor and supplier ledgers.

• Track freight and logistics-related expenses and reconcile vendor bills against actual transactions.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in payments, settlements, invoices, and accounts.

Vendor & Payment Management

• Process vendor invoices and maintain accurate payment records.

• Track vendor payments and outstanding liabilities.

• Reconcile supplier ledgers for expenses such as packaging, freight, raw materials, and other operational requirements.

• Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account-related queries.

Accounts Receivable

• Track customer and marketplace receivables.

• Follow up on pending payments from marketplaces and B2B partners.

• Maintain accurate records of outstanding receivables.

• Support timely reconciliation and resolution of payment-related discrepancies.

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare MIS reports and financial trackers using Microsoft Excel.

• Maintain reconciliation reports and management dashboards.

• Support management with relevant financial data and reports.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification.

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Accounting and Finance.

• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

• Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and reconciliation work.

• Experience in bookkeeping, vendor reconciliation, payment tracking, and receivables management.

• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

• Good communication skills for coordination with vendors, CA, auditors, and internal teams.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working with a D2C, E-commerce, Retail, or multi-channel business.

• Prior experience with marketplace settlement reconciliation.

• Exposure to platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, or Shopify.

• Familiarity with e-commerce and logistics-related documentation, including e-way bills, invoicing, and freight reconciliation.

• Certification or additional knowledge in Tally or GST will be an added advantage.
