Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.

• Ensure accuracy in accounting systems and entries (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger).

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

• Monitor and manage budgets and cash flow.

• Assist with internal and external audits.

• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely tax payments.

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursements.

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven experience (2–5 years) as an accountant or similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
