Job Objective
To oversee warehouse operations during allocated shifts, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant execution of receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, loading and dispatch activities while achieving productivity and service level targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end warehouse shift operations and ensure adherence to operational plans.
• Allocate manpower and resources effectively to meet volume requirements.
• Monitor receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading and dispatch activities.
• Track shift productivity and take corrective actions to achieve KPIs.
• Coordinate with inventory, transport, customer and planning teams.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with SOPs.
• Prepare and review daily shift MIS reports.
• Drive safety, housekeeping and quality standards across the warehouse.
• Handle operational escalations and implement preventive actions.
• Support training and development of warehouse associates.
Experience & Qualification
• 3-6 years of experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Working knowledge of WMS, ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Good analytical, communication and team handling skills.
• Experience in manpower planning and operational control.
