Position: Warehouse Supervisor (with industrial background)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a strong industrial or manufacturing background to oversee daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring smooth and efficient logistics and dispatch functions.
This is a key operational role that requires both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement. The Warehouse Supervisor will play an essential role in ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment that aligns with the company’s operational standards and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Operations Management
Oversee the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and order dispatch.
Ensure that all materials and goods are handled and stored safely and efficiently, following established guidelines.
Monitor daily workflows and adjust assignments as needed to meet deadlines and delivery schedules.
2. Inventory Control & Reporting
Implement and maintain inventory management systems and ensure stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
Minimize inventory loss through effective monitoring and control measures.
Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, material movement, and operational efficiency.
3. Team Supervision & Development
Supervise a team of warehouse staff, including loaders, helpers, and storekeepers.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to encourage continuous improvement.
4. Coordination with Internal & External Stakeholders
Liaise with procurement, production, and logistics departments to plan material movements in accordance with production schedules and customer requirements.
Coordinate with transport vendors, suppliers, and delivery agents to manage inbound and outbound logistics.
5. Safety, Compliance, and Maintenance
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, legal regulations, and company policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse premises.
Report and follow up on repairs, maintenance of equipment, and infrastructure-related issues.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Education: 10th pass (12th pass or Graduation preferred)
Experience: 2 to 5 years in a similar supervisory role within an industrial, warehouse, or logistics environment
Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, material handling, and inventory systems
Familiarity with basic computer operations (Excel, Inventory Software, Email)
Good written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and basic English
Proven leadership and team management capabilities
Physically fit and capable of handling warehouse conditions and manual work if required
