To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Executive to join our dynamic operations team.
The Warehouse Executive will be a key player in our supply chain, responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of Lenovo products. You will ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, maintaining the highest standards of inventory accuracy, safety, and organization. Your role is critical in ensuring our partners receive the right products, at the right time, and in perfect condition.
1. Inventory Management:
Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels using our Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP.
Lead and participate in regular physical stock audits and reconcile any discrepancies with the system records.
Manage stock placement, ensuring optimal use of space and adherence to the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method.
Monitor and report on slow-moving, non-moving, and damaged inventory.
2. Receiving & Put-away:
Unload incoming shipments from suppliers (e.g., Lenovo) and verify contents against purchase orders.
Inspect all received goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
Accurately label, record, and systematically put away all products in their designated locations.
3. Order Processing & Dispatch:
Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders accurately and efficiently for shipment to retailers and partners.
Ensure all shipping documentation (Packing Slips, Invoices, E-Way Bills) is generated accurately and accompanies each shipment.
Coordinate with logistics partners (courier and transport companies) for timely dispatch and track shipments.
4. Warehouse Operations & Safety:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
Ensure all material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) is well-maintained and operated safely.
Enforce and adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures.
Manage the storage and handling of IT assets and high-value electronics with utmost care.
5. Reporting & Coordination:
Generate daily/weekly reports on key metrics: inbound/outbound volume, order accuracy, and inventory status.
Collaborate closely with the sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve any order or inventory-related queries.
Assist the Warehouse Manager in implementing process improvements to enhance productivity.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role, preferably within the IT hardware, consumer electronics, or FMCG distribution sector.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
Professional Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to [e.g., 25 kgs]) and be on your feet for extended periods.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
