Warehouse Manager – Job Description

Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order processing, billing, distribution, safety compliance, and smooth day-to-day functioning. The role requires strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills to achieve operational targets and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage receiving, storage, inventory, order booking, billing, dispatch, documentation, and logistics operations.

• Supervise warehouse staff, allocate duties, conduct daily toolbox meetings, and ensure productivity targets are achieved.

• Maintain stock accuracy through regular stock audits, physical verification, and reconciliation.

• Ensure proper warehouse layout, space utilization, product handling, cleanliness, security, and safety compliance.

• Monitor billing, petty cash, expenses, financial records, and warehouse documentation.

• Prepare daily operational reports, budgets, and performance analyses.

• Handle customer concerns, operational issues, and escalations effectively.

• Train and motivate employees, implement SOPs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Qualification & Experience

Any Graduate/Postgraduate with relevant warehouse management experience, preferably with prior experience in a managerial role.
