Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations & Execution
Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
Ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
Implement and follow SOPs for all warehouse processes
Inventory Management.
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels
Conduct regular stock counts and audits (cycle counts, physical verification)
Ensure proper stock placement and bin management
Minimize stock discrepancies and losses
Dispatch & Logistics Coordination.
Ensure timely order processing and dispatch
Coordinate with transporters and logistics teams
Verify shipment accuracy before dispatch
Track deliveries and resolve dispatch-related issues
Manpower Management.
Supervise warehouse staff, helpers, and loaders.
Allocate tasks and monitor daily productivity.
Ensure discipline, attendance, and safety compliance.
Train staff on warehouse processes and safety protocols.
Safety & Compliance.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures.
Maintain proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
Follow statutory and company compliance policies.
Conduct safety checks and maintain records.
Systems & Documentation.
Ensure proper usage of inventory systems / ERP.
Maintain records for GRN, dispatch, stock movement, and returns.
Prepare daily and monthly reports on warehouse activities.
Coordinate with accounts and operations for documentation.
KPIs:
Inventory accuracy %.
Order dispatch TAT (Turnaround Time).
Stock loss / damage %.
Picking & packing accuracy.
Warehouse productivity.
On-time dispatch rate.
Compliance & audit scores.
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
3–6 years of experience in warehouse operations
Experience in retail / garment / fashion warehouse operations
Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes
Basic knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
