Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Department: Warehouse / Operations

Location: Delhi

Reporting To: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations including material receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch, and manpower supervision at the Dadri location. The role ensures smooth operations, accuracy, safety compliance, and timely dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

Supervise daily warehouse activities: inward, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch

Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and storage of materials as per SOPs

Follow FIFO / FEFO practices to avoid stock ageing

Inventory Management

Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP / WMS

Conduct cycle counts and monthly physical stock verification

Identify and resolve stock variances

Manpower & Shift Management

Allocate manpower and plan shifts as per workload

Supervise loaders, helpers, and warehouse executives

Ensure discipline, productivity, and adherence to company policies

Dispatch & Logistics

Coordinate with transporters for timely dispatches from Dadri warehouse

Ensure proper documentation: invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans

Monitor vehicle movement and dispatch timelines

Safety & Compliance

Ensure safety guidelines, PPE usage, and 5S implementation

Maintain compliance with statutory and company safety standards

Report incidents and near misses

Reporting & Coordination

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports

Coordinate with procurement, sales, and accounts teams

Escalate operational issues to management on time

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations

Inventory & documentation control

Team handling and leadership skills

Basic ERP / SAP / WMS knowledge

MS Excel and reporting skills

Educational Qualification

Graduate / Diploma (Any stream preferred)

Experience

3–6 years of warehouse/logistics experience

Prior experience in a supervisory role preferred
