Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

Cityfurnish is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, coordinate ground teams, and ensure smooth execution of inward, outward, QC, refurbishment, dispatches, and inventory accuracy. This role is crucial in maintaining operational discipline, ensuring SLA adherence, and driving overall warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Warehouse Operations

• Ensure smooth inward and outward flow of goods, including delivery, pickup, upgrades, and SR cases.

• Monitor dispatches, route planning, and ensure timely delivery execution.

• Track all vehicle movement, DT (delivery tracking) assignments, and closure of not-done cases.

• Verify daily pickup-IN, PO-IN, and product movement in Odoo with 100% accuracy.

2. Inventory & QC Management

• Oversee stacking, racking, and warehouse cleanliness; ensure 5S standards are maintained.

• Perform and supervise pickup return QC, refurb QC updates, condition changes, and refurb transfers.

• Conduct R2R checks: condition, functionality, tagging & barcode accuracy.

• Maintain spare parts records, escalate shortages, and ensure correct usage during repairs.

3. Refurbishment Coordination

• Coordinate daily tasks for carpenters & technicians and ensure refurb completion within SLAs.

• Update and maintain Refurb QC sheets, NPD updates, and refurb-related documentation.

4. Attendance, Team Coordination & Compliance

• Ensure attendance compliance (shift-wise), daily team photos, and coordination with HR.

• Guide ground teams, resolve on-floor challenges, and maintain execution discipline.

• Support audit requirements: condition audits, CA audits, scrap approvals, and inventory corrections.

5. Customer Case Management

• Work with operations and customer service to resolve escalations related to delivery, pickup, or QC issues.

• Ensure all wrap-up and escalation cases are closed before the defined cut-off time (4 PM).

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily dashboards: vehicle movement, QC status, pending cases, refurb progress, and inventory health.

• Provide daily updates and reports to the Warehouse Manager and City Manager.

• Ensure all discrepancy reports (mismatches, scrap, warranty cases) are logged and escalated timely.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations roles (furniture/appliances preferred).

• Strong understanding of warehouse workflows, QC, inventory systems, and refurb coordination.

• Experience handling blue-collar teams (technicians, carpenters, loaders, drivers).

• Knowledge of Odoo/ERP systems is an added advantage.

• Strong communication skills (Hindi + basic English).

• Excellent problem-solving ability and ownership mindset.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
