Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Receiving, inspecting, recording, stocking, and conducting cycle/physical counts; reconciling discrepancies.
Operations: Coordinating goods movement (loading/unloading), managing storage layouts, preparing shipments, and arranging MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
Safety & Compliance: Implementing and adhering to Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards, managing risk assessments, and ensuring proper housekeeping.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintaining activity records, updating systems, and generating reports on performance and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Coordination: Liaising with drivers, suppliers, vendors, and other departments to ensure smooth flow.
Process Improvement: Identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions/cost savings.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Skills: Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills; proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and MS Office.
Education: Often a degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
