Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily warehouse operations (receiving, storing, dispatching, and stock control).

• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits to minimize shrinkage/wastage.

• Ensure proper storage conditions for perishable and non-perishable grocery items.

• Implement FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry First Out) practices.

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and store managers for timely supply of goods.

• Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and ensure productivity.

• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health standards in the warehouse.

• Prepare daily/weekly reports on stock movement and warehouse performance.

• Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization.

• Ensure proper documentation of goods received and dispatched.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations & inventory management.

• Experience in managing perishable and grocery stock.

• Leadership and team management skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel / warehouse management software.

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

• 3–7 years of experience in warehouse management (preferably in grocery/FMCG sector).
