Warehouse Manager

A Finished Goods Warehouse Manager oversees the storage and distribution of completed products. This role ensures efficient and accurate management of inventory, maintains a safe and organized warehouse environment, and coordinates with other departments to meet production and customer demands. 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Inventory Management:

Maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and optimizing storage space. 

·       FIFO:

An inventory management strategy where the oldest inventory items are the first ones to be sold, used, or shipped out. 

·       Warehouse Operations:

Overseeing daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. 

·       Team Leadership:

Managing and motivating warehouse staff, ensuring proper training and adherence to safety protocols. 

·       Safety and Compliance:

Maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. 

·       Coordination:

Collaborating with other departments (production, sales, logistics) to ensure smooth product flow and timely delivery. 

Specific Tasks:

·       Supervising the receipt and storage of finished goods.

·       Ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage or spoilage.

·       Managing the picking, packing, and labeling of outgoing orders.

·       Coordinating with shipping companies and ensuring timely deliveries.

·       Maintaining warehouse equipment and ensuring proper maintenance.

·       Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.

·       Managing and resolving any issues related to finished goods inventory.

·       Ensuring proper disposal of damaged or expired goods.

Skills and Qualifications:

·       Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

·       Excellent organizational and time management skills.

·       Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).

·       Knowledge of inventory control and logistics best practices.

·       Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

·       Experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment.

·       Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

·       Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
