Warehouse Manager – Job Opening
📍 Location: Mantarwadi, Pune
⏰ Timing: 09:30 AM – 6:30 PM
📅 Days: Monday to Saturday
💰 Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000/month
About the Role
We need a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead a team of 15 people and run daily warehouse work smoothly. You will be on the floor, checking work and solving problems.
Responsibilities
Team
- Manage 15 staff members and assign daily work (picking, packing, loading, receiving)
- Maintain discipline and productivity
- Train new staff on processes and safety
Stock
- Receive new stock and check quantity and condition against invoices
- Arrange and label stock properly
- Do regular stock checks and report shortages, damage or wrong picking right away
Orders & Dispatch
- Prioritise orders and make sure picking, checking and packing finish before dispatch time
- Check that the right goods are loaded into the right vehicle
- Coordinate with transporters and couriers
Warehouse Optimisation
- Plan the warehouse layout and make the best use of space
- Keep fast-moving items near the packing and dispatch area so picking is faster
- Find and fix anything that slows down work on the floor
Process & Reporting
- Create SOPs and make sure the team follows them
- Share a report on orders, dispatches, pending orders, and stock.
- Update the office on order status and stock
- Keep the warehouse clean and safe
Requirements
- Experience in warehouse, inventory or dispatch work
- Experience managing a team of 10+ people
- Good computer and MS Excel skills
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience creating SOPs or improving warehouse layout is a plus
