Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Godown In-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of our furniture and electronics warehouse. The candidate will be responsible for stock management, receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring proper storage and handling of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily godown/warehouse operations and ensure smooth workflow.

• Receive incoming furniture and electronics products and verify quantities and specifications.

• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper inventory control.

• Arrange products systematically for easy identification and movement.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the showroom/sales team for requirements.

• Supervise loading and unloading of furniture, electronics, and other materials.

• Ensure products are handled and stored safely to prevent damage.

• Prepare and maintain inward, outward, transfer, and delivery records.

• Conduct regular physical stock verification and report discrepancies.

• Coordinate with delivery and installation teams for timely dispatch of products.

• Ensure proper packing and documentation before dispatch.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security standards within the godown.

• Supervise and guide warehouse helpers and other support staff.

• Report damaged, missing, or defective products to the management.

• Support stock audits and provide required inventory reports.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse/godown operations, preferably in furniture or electronics retail.

• Good knowledge of inventory and stock management.

• Experience in handling furniture and electronic products will be an advantage.

• Basic computer knowledge for maintaining stock records.

• Good communication and team-management skills.

• Ability to handle physical work, loading/unloading supervision, and warehouse activities.

• Strong attention to detail and responsibility towards company assets.
