Warehouse Incharge

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Warehouse IN-charge to manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inward and outward stock, inventory management, stock update (manual and in system ), order processing, picking, packing and dispatch. The role will ensure that materials are received, stored and dispatched accurately and in accordance with company SOPs and safety standards. These responsibilities align with Indian government and current industry descriptions of the Warehouse in- charge role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inward and outward movement of materials and finished goods.

• Receive materials and verify quantity, quality and documentation against purchase orders/invoices.

• Ensure proper storage, labeling and material identification.

• Maintain accurate inventory records in Tally prime and MS Excel.

• Conduct daily stock checks, cycle counts and periodic physical inventory.

• Identify and reconcile stock shortages, excesses, damaged or missing materials.

• Process picking, packing, scanning and dispatch activities accurately.

• Prepare dispatch documents, delivery challans, invoices, manifests and other required records.

• Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Production, Transport and Accounts teams for smooth operations.

• Monitor pending orders and ensure timely dispatch.

• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards within the warehouse.

• Follow all company SOPs, safety procedures and compliance requirements.

• Support warehouse audits and prepare required reports for management.

• Track damaged, rejected, returned and scrap materials and ensure proper documentation.

• Identify operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse helpers/operators where required.

• Attendance management .

• Vehicles management.

• Maintain purchase stock management and reports.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.

• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Tally prime.

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to prepare warehouse reports and maintain documentation.

• Problem-solving and time-management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of warehouse safety and SOP compliance.

• Team-handling skills will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• 3 – 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory or supply-chain operations.

• Experience with tally prime preferred.

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing or distribution operations is an advantage.

• Physical & Work Requirements Comfortable working on the warehouse floor and handling material as required.

• Willingness to follow warehouse safety procedures and operational schedules.

Office Timing - 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 3 - 5 years of experience.
