The Warehouse Executive is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound, storage, inventory management, and outbound activities. The role ensures timely movement of FMCG goods with accuracy, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with company policies.
Supervise unloading of inbound shipments and verify documents (PO, invoice, packing list).
Ensure proper checking, segregation, and storage of goods.
Coordinate with quality and data entry teams for GRN creation and issue resolution.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock updates in WMS/ERP systems.
Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stock audits.
Report stock discrepancies and damages with root cause analysis.
Plan and coordinate order picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
Ensure timely dispatches aligned with sales/dispatch schedules.
Cross-check dispatch documents (invoice, delivery challan, etc.) before release.
Ensure warehouse operations comply with FSSAI, hygiene, and safety regulations.
Implement 5S, fire safety, and housekeeping protocols.
Maintain documentation for audits (internal, statutory, or client-specific).
Supervise warehouse staff and assign tasks as per shift workload.
Liaise with transporters, vendors, and internal departments (procurement, sales, quality).
Assist in training of new warehouse associates on SOPs and safety practices.
Graduate in any discipline (preferred: B.Com, BBA, or Supply Chain diploma)
3–6 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in FMCG
Knowledge of WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Proficient in MS Excel and inventory tracking tools
Strong understanding of warehouse processes and inventory norms
Good communication and team management skills
Willing to work in shifts and handle physical warehouse environment
