Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Control: Manage accurate inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods to prevent inventory aging, particularly for sensitive paper products.
Production & Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate with production teams to receive finished paperboard (reels/sheets) and manage timely, cost-effective dispatch to customers.
Raw Material Storage: Oversee the inbound logistics and storage of waste paper, chemicals, and consumables needed for production.
Warehouse Operations & Maintenance: Supervise daily operations, including loading/unloading, Racking optimization, and ensuring the physical condition of the warehouse is safe and clean.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, including managing hazardous materials and ensuring compliance with fire safety standards in a potentially high-risk (dusty/flammable) environment.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, ensuring productivity targets are met.
ERP/System Management: Utilize ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to monitor stock and track shipments.
