Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with warehouse staff to plan the arrival and unloading of delivery trucks and vehicles.
Oversee and verify the loading and unloading process, ensuring inventory accuracy.
Conduct daily inspections to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse premises.
Ensure all items are scanned accurately during both loading and unloading operations.
Supervise warehouse staff, monitor daily operations, and track individual productivity.
Enforce First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principles in inventory handling and stock rotation.
Verify that items loaded for dispatch match the pick list accurately.
Organize and maintain storage areas according to layout and safety standards.
Manage inventory with proper labeling, identification, and storage protocols.
Maintain and update bin cards regularly to reflect current stock.
Conduct daily Physical Inventory Counts (PIC) and perform weekly full stock audits.
Allocate duties to team members based on skill sets and experience levels.
Oversee picking, receiving, and dispatch operations to ensure accuracy and minimize damage.
Assist staff with handling heavy items and ensure proper, safe loading into delivery vehicles.
Confirm timely and correct delivery of dispatched items.
Promote a collaborative team environment and motivate staff to meet warehouse goals.
Maintain overall cleanliness, orderliness, and proper upkeep of warehouse space and equipment.
Maintain proper documentation of all warehouse activities, including receipts, dispatch records, inventory logs, damage reports, and audit reports.
Ensure timely and accurate entry of data into warehouse management systems and Excel reports.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock status, movement, and variances.
Keep proper filing and backup of all physical and digital records for internal and external audits.
