Job Description

1. Product Receiving

  • Verify shipments against purchase orders

  • Check for damage or defects

  • Record in warehouse management system (WMS)

2. Product Counting & Inventory

  • Daily/weekly/monthly physical inventory counts

  • Reconcile counts with WMS records

  • Maintain stock rotation (FIFO method)

3. Sorting & Organization

  • Sort products by category, size, and destination

  • Label and organize for efficient picking

  • Optimize warehouse space and layout

4. Packing & Order Fulfillment

  • Pack orders accurately per requirements

  • Inspect quality before sealing

  • Apply shipping labels and tracking information

5. Warehouse Security

  • Monitor premises and control access

  • Prevent theft and unauthorized access

  • Conduct security patrols

  • Secure all doors, gates, and locks

6. Driver Coordination

  • Coordinate with delivery drivers

  • Verify delivery details and manifests

  • Obtain signatures and confirmations

  • Track ongoing deliveries
