Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Co-ordinate with oversea suppliers for material readiness & share the PO's with them for material dispatch.

2. Taking quotes from forwarders and negotiate with them for Courier, Air, Sea & LCL shipments.

3. Co-ordination with overseas vendor for material pick up & vessel schedule & flight schedules .

4. Arrangement of Pre & post shipments documentation on regular basis.

5. Looking after Import Pre-Alerts documents received from shippers,forwarders.

6. Keeping track of ETD & ETA of all shipments

7. Co-ordinate with counterpart for shipments status.

8. Co-ordinating with Clearing team for timely clearance of shipments.

9. Co- ordinating with Transporter for vehicle placement on time as per requirement in advance.

10. Taking follow up with freight forswarders, CHA , transporters for shipments bills

11. Check vednors bills as per the quotations & share it with finance team for booking.

12. Reconciliation of vendor outstanding statements with support to finance team

13. To maintain MIS data of all import & export shipments.
