Warehouse Assistant

A reputed Automobile/ logistics company is hiring Material Handlers /GRN Coordinator for its warehouse and line-feeding operations at Chakan, Pune. Freshers are welcome with full on-the-job training. Candidates with warehouse or logistics experience are equally encouraged to apply.

Material Handlers :

What you will do

• Unload materials from vehicles and containers along with the MHE operator

• Sign off material receipt with the vehicle driver after unloading

• Sort and arrange materials as per FIFO or sequence number

• Load materials onto sequencing trolleys as per picklist instructions

• Place materials in the dock, supermarket or other designated locations

• Deliver materials to the production line on time with MHE operator support

• Report any shortage, damage or mismatch to the group leader immediately

• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards in the work area

• Follow all safety rules and work as per SOPs and Work Instructions

What we are looking for

• SSC pass minimum

• Physically fit — the role involves standing, walking and lifting through the shift

• Comfortable working in a warehouse and production environment

• Discipline, teamwork and willingness to follow safety and process rules

• Prior warehouse or material handling experience is an added advantage

GRN Handler:
What you will do

• Post Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) in SAP for all materials and invoices received

• Review pending GRNs and follow up with the concerned departments to close them

• Coordinate with customer teams to resolve discrepancies in the GRN process

• Prepare and share lists of incorrect invoices with the customer team for correction

• Track department KPIs, spot deviations and support corrective action

• Prepare and circulate MIS reports as per the operational schedule

• Support audit and quality compliance (QMS, ISO, EMS, VDA 6.3, OHSMS)

• Maintain 5S standards and follow all safety protocols in the work area

• Work strictly as per Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions

What we are looking for

• HSC or Graduate in any stream

• Comfortable working on a computer; basic Excel knowledge

• Good coordination and follow-up skills — daily interaction with warehouse, finance and customer teams

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

• Willingness to learn SAP (prior SAP experience is an added advantage)
