Warehouse Assistant

Job Summary

The Warehouse Helper will support day-to-day warehouse and material handling activities, including receiving, arranging, issuing, and maintaining stock in an organized and safe manner. The role involves assisting the Store In-Charge/Store Assistant in smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and verifying materials from suppliers

• Label, arrange, and store materials in designated areas

• Help in material picking and issuing as per job/work orders

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse

• Assist in stock counting / physical inventory checks

• Ensure safe handling and movement of materials

• Support packing and dispatch activities when required

• Follow warehouse safety rules and procedures

• Report damaged or missing materials to the supervisor

Skills & Requirements

• Basic reading & writing ability

• Physically fit and able to lift materials

• Willingness to learn warehouse processes

• Ability to follow instructions and work as a team

• Prior warehouse/store experience preferred (not mandatory)

Qualification

• SSLC / HSC / ITI preferred

• Freshers can also apply
