Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse & Transport Assistant to support end-to-end logistics operations, including warehouse handling, inventory control, dispatch planning, and transport coordination. The role requires close interaction with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against invoices and delivery challans

• Store materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval

• Maintain SKU-wise inventory records (manual/ERP)

• Perform picking, packing, and labeling of goods for dispatch

• Conduct periodic stock checks and assist in audits

• Ensure proper handling of fragile, high-value, or sensitive goods

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards

Transport & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate vehicle placement as per dispatch schedule

• Liaise with transporters, drivers, and vendors for timely pickups and deliveries

• Prepare and verify transport documents (LR, e-way bill, invoice, delivery challan)

• Track shipments and update status to internal teams/customers

• Handle route planning and ensure cost-effective dispatch

• Monitor loading/unloading to avoid damage or shortages

• Maintain records of vehicle movement, fuel logs (if applicable), and delivery timelines

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain dispatch registers and proof of delivery (POD) records

• Update data in ERP / Excel sheets for inventory and transport tracking

• Report delays, damages, shortages, or discrepancies

• Support billing team with logistics documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate (preferred in Logistics/Supply Chain)

• Experience: 1–3 years in logistics, warehouse, or transport operations

• Knowledge of transport documentation (LR, e-way bill, GST compliance)

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP systems preferred)

• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (drivers, vendors, warehouse team)

• Physically fit for warehouse-related tasks

• Combination of warehouse floor + office coordination work

Salary Range (Indicative)

₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month (depending on experience and city)

Reporting To

Logistics Manager / Transport Manager

Preferred Profile (Bonus)

• Experience in 3PL / transport / FMCG / e-commerce logistics

• Familiarity with route planning and fleet management

• Basic understanding of cost control in logistics operations

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
