About Seesham

Seesham is a packaging supply business offering products such as boxes, pouches, bags, tapes, food packaging and packaging machines.

We are looking for a Vendor Manager who can find new suppliers, discover new products, negotiate prices and maintain good relationships with manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Find new manufacturers and suppliers of packaging products across India.

• Contact vendors through phone calls, WhatsApp and email.

• Collect product catalogues, price lists, product details and quotations.

• Compare prices from different suppliers and negotiate better rates.

• Find new products that can be added to our website.

• Collect product images, sizes, specifications and minimum order quantities.

• Update product details on our Shopify website.

• Maintain vendor contact details and price lists in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Follow up with vendors for orders, dispatches and delivery updates.

• Coordinate with vendors to resolve product or delivery issues.

• Keep supplier information and records updated.

Requirements

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.

• Comfortable making calls and talking to suppliers.

• Basic computer and internet skills.

• Ability to research products and find new suppliers online.

• Organised, responsible and willing to learn.

• Knowledge of Shopify is an advantage.

Important Requirement

Candidates must have their own laptop and a reliable internet connection. They should be comfortable working online and communicating with vendors daily.

Preferred Candidates

Candidates with experience in purchasing, vendor management, product sourcing or ecommerce will be preferred. Freshers with good communication skills and a willingness to learn can also apply.
