Transport Traffic Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, energetic Transport Traffic & Warehouse Executive to manage our day-to-day transport operations and oversee warehouse activities at our Vadpe facility. In this role, you will be the backbone of our dispatch operations, ensuring seamless vehicle placements, vendor coordination, and accurate operational reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Fleet & Vehicle Placement: Procure and place all types of commercial vehicles (Open body, Containers, Trailers, etc.) seamlessly through our network of market brokers, transport vendors, and fleet owners to meet daily dispatch requirements.

• Warehouse Operations Management: Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, including loading/unloading coordination, inventory tracking, and material handling at the Vadpe facility.

• Vendor & Transporter Management: Maintain active relationships with brokers, vendors, and fleet owners to negotiate competitive freight rates and ensure vehicle availability on demand.

• Daily MIS & Reporting: Prepare, maintain, and share daily Management Information System (MIS) reports tracking vehicle movements, dispatch status, freight costs, and warehouse stock updates.

• Daily On-Site Reporting: Report physically every day at our operational office located at the Vadpe warehouse.
  

Required Skills & Capabilities

• Industry Experience: Proven experience in transport traffic management, vehicle sourcing, and warehouse operations within the logistics and supply chain sector.

• Strong Broker/Vendor Network: Excellent existing connections and negotiation skills with transport vendors, fleet owners, and market brokers for quick vehicle placement.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to coordinate efficiently with drivers, transport partners, and internal team members.

• Data & Analytical Skills: Well-versed in maintaining regular operational records and daily MIS reports.

• Location Flexibility: Comfortable working on-site on a daily basis from our warehouse facility in Vadpe.
