Transport Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day transport operations, including vehicle scheduling, dispatch, and routing.

• Monitor driver performance and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.

• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely delivery and pickup.

• Maintain and update records of vehicles, fuel usage, maintenance, and trip logs.

• Handle transport-related documentation, permits, and compliance requirements.

• Resolve operational issues such as vehicle breakdowns, delays, or driver concerns.

• Ensure cost-effective operations by optimizing routes and minimizing fuel consumption.

• Train, guide, and motivate drivers and support staff for better efficiency.

• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in transport/logistics supervision.

• Strong knowledge of fleet management and transportation regulations.

• Ability to handle a team of drivers and support staff effectively.

• Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and transport management systems is preferred.

• Flexibility to work under pressure and handle urgent operational requirements.
