Job Summary:
The Site Lead will be responsible for managing end-to-end employee transportation operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective services while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily transport operations including routing, scheduling, and fleet utilization
Coordinate with vendors, drivers, and internal teams for seamless operations
Ensure adherence to safety standards and statutory compliance
Handle real-time operational challenges such as delays and breakdowns
Optimize routes and improve cost efficiency
Monitor KPIs like on-time performance and employee satisfaction
Maintain vehicle and driver documentation
Conduct audits of vendors and fleet conditions
Manage shift planning for drivers and coordinators
Handle incident management and reporting
Prepare MIS reports and share operational insights
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
5–8 years of experience in transport, logistics, or fleet operations
Experience in employee transportation is preferred
Key Skills:
Leadership and team management
Problem-solving and decision-making
Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards
Experience with TMS or routing tools
Analytical and reporting skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management
Preferred Skills:
Experience in large-scale transport operations (manufacturing sector)
Vendor management and negotiation
Knowledge of GPS tracking and fleet analytics
Work Conditions:
Willingness to work in shifts (including night shifts)
On-call availability for escalations
Field involvement in fleet/vendor management
