Transport Supervisor

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Transport Supervisor to oversee daily fleet operations, ensure all vehicles are in running condition, manage drivers, and optimize routes for efficient and cost-effective transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Ensure timely servicing, repair, and maintenance of all vehicles.

  • Monitor vehicle fitness, documents, and upkeep to keep the fleet in running condition.

• Route Planning & Optimization:

  • Plan and assign daily routes based on pickup locations.

  • Implement cost-cutting by optimizing routes and reducing unnecessary travel.

• Driver Management:

  • Hire, onboard, and train drivers as per operational requirements.

  • Address driver grievances and provide quick resolutions to ensure smooth operations.

  • Monitor driver performance and ensure adherence to safety and compliance norms.

• Operational Coordination:

  • Maintain daily trip records, fuel logs, and vehicle usage reports.

  • Coordinate with vendors, workshops, and internal teams for transport operations.

  • Ensure timely dispatch, pickups, and deliveries as per schedules.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in transport/logistics is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations.

• Good communication and people-handling skills.

• Expertise in route planning, cost optimization, and driver supervision.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle field situations.

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
