Transport Supervisor

We are looking for a Transport Supervisor to join our team at at Damal Industries Private Limited. This role involves managing storage, packing, inventory, and distribution of goods in the warehouse. Key Responsibilities:

Daily Transport Operations

Plan Daily Vehicle Dispatch
Prepare the daily dispatch schedule as per orders

Arrange priority deliveries first

Check truck/tempo availability

Give delivery updates to customers

Driver Management

Explain the route, destination, and timing to drivers

Maintain daily attendance and duty chart

Ensure drivers follow safety rules

Arrange Transport

Contact transporters to arrange vehicles

Negotiate best rates

Ensure vehicles report on time

Route & Delivery Monitoring

Tracking & Monitoring

Track vehicles using GPS/phone

Take quick action if there is any delay

Give delivery updates to customers

Loading & Unloading Supervision

Check loading weight, safety, and proper sealing

Take follow-up on unloading time

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 3 - 4 years of experience. Other requirements include attention to detail, organizing skills, and managing time. Basic computer knowledge for inventory tracking is a plus.
