Logistics Transport Manager

We are looking for an experienced Transport Manager to handle our company's transport operations and company-owned fleet. The candidate should have good knowledge of vehicle planning, route management, driver handling, and vehicle maintenance. Only candidates with relevant transport and logistics experience should apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and place vehicles according to the shipment load and dimensions at pickup locations.

• Prepare the most efficient routes to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.

• Manage and monitor all company-owned vehicles.

• Ensure all vehicles remain in good running condition through timely servicing and maintenance.

• Coordinate with local garages for vehicle repairs and preventive maintenance.

• Hire and manage drivers for EV Pickup, Tata Ace, 14 Ft, 17 Ft, and 22 Ft vehicles.

• Address drivers' concerns, operational issues, and day-to-day challenges while following management guidelines.

• Maintain proper records of vehicle servicing, repairs, permits, insurance, and other documents.

• Monitor vehicle utilization and reduce idle time.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and transport regulations.

• Coordinate with the operations team for smooth vehicle movement and daily transport planning.

• Handle breakdowns and emergency situations to minimize operational delays.

• Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and available for operations at all times.

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 3 - 6+ years Experience.
