Transport Manager

M/s Shiv Oil Traders is engaged in petroleum trading and logistics. With a growing fleet and operational base, we are looking for a Transport Manager to streamline fleet management, optimize costs, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) daily for fleet control

2. Plan, schedule, and ensure timely reporting of vehicles at loading/unloading points

3. Maintain vehicle upkeep – preventive & corrective maintenance

4. Track and analyze fuel consumption, prevent pilferage, and maintain cost efficiency

5. Handle vehicle crew and resolve operational/disciplinary issues

6. Prepare MIS and daily/weekly reports for management

7. Ensure compliance with RTO, road permits, and other statutory requirements

8. Coordinate with clients and internal teams for smooth dispatch & delivery

9. Conduct occasional field visits for supervision & troubleshooting

Desired Profile:

Graduate in any discipline (specialization in Logistics/Supply Chain/Automobile preferred)

3–5 years of relevant experience (preferably in petroleum / bulk liquid transport)

Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in MS Office, GPS, and transport management systems

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns
