Key Responsibilities:
1. Driver On-boarding & Documentation :
Verify and collect valid documents (License, Aadhaar, PAN, Photo, etc.) for new drivers.
2. Maintain manual records promptly:
Conduct verification using original documents only.
Attempt to obtain a reference from the driver’s previous employer.
3. Ensure trips are opened in ERP on the same day.
Vehicle Handover & Takeover
Manage smooth transitions of local vehicles with thorough checks.
Note and report any missing company assets on the manual form.
Document recovery voucher details.
4. Fooding Transfer & Follow-up
Arrange timely fooding transfers for local drivers.
Track follow-ups and obtain HOD approval before communication.
Ensure transactions are processed using the HAPPY card.
5.Daily Attendance Management
Submit driver and vehicle attendance reports by 4 PM daily.
Ensure no discrepancies in attendance data.
6. Fleet Coordination & Management
Supervise local fleet operations and address loading/unloading issues.
Resolve incidents of shortages, damages, or leakage at customer premises.
Motivate drivers to count materials, ensure proper sealing, and lock checks.
7. Daily Local Vehicle Report
Provide morning and evening vehicle status and activity reports.
8. Driver Support & Issue Resolution
Address fuel, toll, parking, and fooding issues.
Ensure all expenses comply with company policies.
Seek HOD approval for exceptional cases.
9. Diesel Supply Management
Manage timely fuel distribution to local vehicles in compliance with company norms.
10. Route Survey
Conduct surveys of Guwahati and surrounding areas for optimized routes.
Driver Recovery & Incident Handling
Take corrective actions for incidents such as driver absconding, theft of battery, tires, or fuel.
