Job Description

  • Coordinate with transporters, vehicle brokers, drivers, and warehouse teams for vehicle placement.

  • Arrange vehicles according to shipment requirements and delivery schedules.

  • Monitor vehicle movement and ensure timely delivery of goods.

  • Maintain daily transport records, vehicle details, LR/GR, challans, and delivery documents.

  • Follow up on pending deliveries, vehicle delays, and proof of delivery (POD).

  • Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for loading and dispatch.

  • Prepare daily transport reports and update shipment status in Excel or ERP.

  • Track transportation expenses, diesel records, and freight charges as required.

  • Resolve transportation-related issues and communicate updates to the concerned departments.
