Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and Scheduling:

• Developing and implementing transportation schedules, assigning routes, and coordinating with drivers and vendors to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. 

• Route Optimization:

• Identifying the most efficient and cost-effective routes for transportation, considering factors like distance, traffic, and weather. 

• Vehicle Maintenance:

• Monitoring vehicle maintenance needs, scheduling repairs, and ensuring vehicles are in good working condition. 

• Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensuring that all transportation operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. 

• Customer Service:

• Handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing excellent customer service related to transportation. 

• Budget Management:

• Monitoring transportation costs, identifying areas for cost reduction, and contributing to the overall transportation budget. 

• Problem Solving:

• Addressing issues and challenges that arise in transportation operations, such as delays, accidents, or unexpected situations. 

• Communication:

• Maintaining clear communication with drivers, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders. 

• Record Keeping:

• Maintaining accurate records of transportation activities, including schedules, deliveries, and expenses.
