Team Lead – Warehouse Operations
Job Summary
The Team Lead – Warehouse Operations is responsible for supervising day-to-day warehouse activities and ensuring smooth operations related to receiving, storage, inventory management, dispatch, and logistics. The role requires strong leadership, team management, time management, and problem-solving skills to achieve operational targets while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, billing coordination, documentation, and logistics activities.
Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods within the warehouse.
Monitor loading and unloading activities and ensure proper handling of materials.
Maintain efficient space utilization and proper product storage practices.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and company policies.
Team Management
Lead and guide warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.
Allocate duties and monitor employee performance.
Conduct daily toolbox meetings and communicate operational priorities.
Ensure employees maintain workplace discipline, grooming, and hygiene standards.
Motivate team members and promote a collaborative work environment.
Inventory Management
Ensure stock accuracy through daily, monthly, and annual stock verification.
Monitor inventory movements and support stock reconciliation activities.
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage and handling to prevent product damage.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company guidelines.
Support safety audits and implement corrective actions when required.
Promote a safe and secure working environment.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and submit daily operational reports.
Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
Track billing status and coordinate with relevant departments.
Escalate operational issues and provide timely updates to management.
Customer & Process Management
Address operational issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted service.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth warehouse functioning.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-control measures.

Qualification & Experience
Any Graduate.
